Valentines at Gwendolen Avenue

In the wake of Valentines day, all the Christmas decorations that adorned No5 Gwendolen Avenue have been taken down. All that is except the wreath, which now takes the form of a pink heart.

December 2009 saw a little more sparkle on Gwendolen Avenue. Christmas tree complete with working lights and a miniature Rockweiler to guard it. Maybe it’s not quite as impressive as Joshua Allen Harris’ Inflatable monsters on the streets of New York, but it cheers up my day.

Creative imps at work on Gwendolen Avenue

Since I discovered this magical tree in Putney it has caused me much infantile amusement, and still does. I often crawl past the tree on my scooter, in the hope that the imaginative imps have refreshed their work.

This gem holds such creative merit, it’s worthy of sharing – so I will keep you updated.
